Section C5A - Order of the Arrow

Officers for Section C5A are elected annually at the Section Conclave. They serve a one year term which concludes at the end of the following Section Conclave.

Ben Nachman Section Secretary Kit-Ke-Hak-O-Kut Lodge chief@sectionc5a.org		Ben is a student at Westside High School in Omaha, Nebraska. He is a member of Kit-Ke-Hak-o-Kut lodge, where he served as Lodge Vice Chief and Treasurer. Ben is an Eagle Scout and has received the Founders award. He also served as the Activities Conclave Vice Chief for the recently held 2006 Section C-5A conclave. Ben has been on camp staff at his council camp (Camp Cedars) for 3 years and is also a member of the Soaring Eagle Chapter ceremony team. He loves to run and is on his High School’s cross country and track teams.
Charlie Copeland Section Vice-Chief Kidi Kidish Lodge vicechief@sectionc5a.org		Charlie is a student majoring in Business Administration at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. He is a member of Kidi Kidish Lodge where he served as Lodge Chief and Chapter Chief. Charlie is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member. He has traveled to 6 lodges and 2 sections to do LLD trainings and is planning on staffing at ArrowCorps5. Charlie is also involved in the Marching Jayhawks at KU and keeps himself busy working at KU Medical Center and with Uncle Sam’s Fireworks.
Nathan Huerter Section Secretary Dzie Hauk Tonga Lodge secretary@sectionc5a.org		Nathan is Vigil Honor member and Founders Award recepient from the Dzie-Hauk Tonga Lodge, Jayhawk Area Council. He has served as Lodge Chief and has also served as Lodge Vice-Chief, Lodge Treasurer, Elangomat / Nimat Chairman and on the Ceremonies and Unit Elections teams. He has also received his Eagle Scout with six palms and 2 religious awards. He is also a member of the Jayhawk Area Council Executive Board. He has attended the Boundary Waters ,2 NOAC’s, and NCLS. He has worked the past 5 summers at his councils Boy Scout and Cub Scout Camps. Nathan is currently a sophomore at Kansas State University majoring in Landscape Architecture and pursuing a minor in Leadership Studies.
Doug Heller Section Adviser Phone: 402-330-7359 DougHc7adv@aol.com		Doug Heller was appointed Adviser of Section C-5A when the sections realigned in 2004. Prior to that Doug was Section Adviser for Sections C-6B and C-7 and Central Region Area 7 Vice-President. Doug is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor member, and Founders Award recipient originating from the Kit-Ke-Hak-O-Kut Lodge where he was Lodge Chief from 1982-1983. He has served in numerous Adviser roles in both the Kit-Ke-Hak-O-Kut and Golden Sun Lodges. He has recieved the District Award of Merit and the Silver Beaver Award. Doug is currently the Cubmaster for Pack 492 in Omaha and Assistant Den Leader for Den 1 (Webelos 1's) for Pack 492. Doug works for ConAgra Foods as a Senior Systems Analyst on the Time and Labor team in Omaha.
Robert Holston Associate Adviser Phone: 785-827-3929 rlholston@tnnl.net		Robert Holston was appointed as Associate Adviser at the conclusion of the 2004 Conclave. Bob advanced to Life Scout during his youth Scouting adventure and has been as a leader in several units as Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster. He has received the following recognitions during his adult Scouting adventure: Founder’s Award, District Award of Merit, Silver Beaver, Scouter’s Key, Scoutmasters Key, Webelos Den Leader Award and the National President's Leader of Distinction Award. He is the immediate past Lodge Adviser of Kidi Kidish Lodge and is the Council Training Chairman for the Coronado Council. During his tenure as Lodge Adviser, Kidi Kidish Lodge was a Quality Lodge for thirteen of the past fourteen years. Bob recently retired from the Salina Fire Department after serving for 32 years. Bob remains active in both the Coronado Council and Kidi Kidish Lodges as Assistant Scoutmaster, Explorer Post Adviser and Council At Large Board member.
Bob Blaeuer Staff Adviser Phone: 785-827-4461 bblaeuer@bsamail.org		Bob Blaeuer was appointed as Staff Adviser in the October 2004. Bob has served as Lodge Staff Adviser for Sac-N-Fox, Timmeu, Cho-Gun-Mun-A-Nock and Toloma Lodges and is currently the Program Director of the Coronado Area Council and Lodge Staff Adviser for Kidi Kidish Lodge in Salina, KS.
