Mandan Lodge will be hosting the Section C5A Conclave next Fall, the weekend of September 6 – 8th, at Mandan Camp near Dodge City. Contingents will have the option of camping, or staying in the bunkhouse. There will be a small fee for staying in the dorms, however the bunkhouse only holds 80 beds, so first come first serve.
Trainings and Activities will be centered on a Western theme. So as you can imagine activities will include Mountain Men. Tomahawks, black powder, flint and steel contests, and American Indian crafts.
Mandan will also bring back the Iron Arrowman contest to discover the “Best in the West”.
The dining hall will be host to great food and a time of fellowship all in the spirit of our Western theme. Entertainment includes, Special Guest, Can-Can Girls, and gun fighters.
They also hope to offer shuttle tours to Boothill Museum in the afternoon for a chance to truly experience the west.
Early Bird Registration Cost: $38 by August 12

March 1-2 turned out to be a very successful Council of Chiefs! Much was accomplish, and many friendships renewed! 38 Arrowmen attended the weekend with every lodge represented. A new Section logo was approved (see picture to the left) while a buffalo (not real) was approved to become the Section mascot. We look forward to meeting again soon on Skype, and will relate those dates when announced! Also keep your eyes open for the upcoming Newsletter!
